Casa de la Cultura (House of Culture), Limon

El Oasis became a social hub, drawing locals and visitors alike to enjoy its lively atmosphere. Its presence marked an era of community gathering and celebration, cementing the building's importance in Lim贸n's social fabric.
By the mid-1980s, the Costa Rican government took over the building with a vision to create a space dedicated to the arts and culture. It was renovated and repurposed as the Uman Popular Theater and House of Culture. During the transformation, the second floor was demolished to make room for theater stage equipment and seating, providing a venue for artistic performances and community events.
