Friendship Fountain is not an ordinary splashy landmark but Jacksonville鈥檚 watery ode to optimism. Set on the banks of St. Johns River Park (yes, locals call it Friendship Fountain Park for a reason), this shimmering spectacle has been winning hearts since the 1960s, one jet of water at a time.
When it debuted in 1965, this fountain didn鈥檛 just make waves鈥攊t set records.
