The island of Siargao has become very popular among both surfers and tourists, both from the local market as well as the international ones.
For most people travelling to Siargao, they typically base themselves in the General Luna as well as the Cloud 9 area (which is also still part of the General Luna), as the General Luna area is the hub for everything that hustles and bustles in the island of Siargao.
This guide will walk you through the key sites which can be visited while you are exploring the General Luna. Without further ado鈥�
There is no doubt that the Cloud 9 Resort area is the hub of the surfing capital in the whole of Philippines. But even if you are not into surfing, I would still recommend that you pay some time to visit the Cloud 9 Resort, if only just to enjoy the beautiful beach and stroll along the boardwalk that is sure to reward you with great views!
As you exit the Cloud 9 Resort, you will eventually reach an area called as the Glorious Cross of Love, which is no doubt a nice site dedicated to Christianity. It was in renovation during the times when I visited in the year of 2025. However, there is a nice little secret beach with palm trees just a few minutes walk鈥� away from the Glorious Cross of Love. It is in this unmapped location just adjacent to the 鈥淵oga Classes Siargao 鈥� Ekaterina Rebenok鈥� in Google Map. ...... (follow the instructions below for accessing the rest of this article).
