Travelling to Western Australia for the first time as an adult opened my eyes to what the state was really like. I鈥檇 always imagined that beyond聽Perth, most of the fun places in WA were all outback destinations up north in the Kimberley. Starting with a road trip down to Albany on the south coast quickly set me straight though. Who knew there were so many interesting things to do in Albany?

With a few days in and around Albany in Western Australia, my brother and I were able to see so many different sides of this city. Admittedly, you won鈥檛 need too long to see the main Albany attractions. But once you start looking at all the great places just outside the city centre you realise just how much this small region has going on.
