Also known as the Church of Saint Mary the Virgin, the St. Mary’s Episcopal Church is the primary Episcopal church in Sagada. Built in 1940 by American missionaries, it features intricately carved wooden beams and stained glass windows.

Once you head further inside from the St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, you will eventually reach the Sagada Anglican Cemetery. The cemetery is a pretty expansive and peaceful site that serves as the town’s primary cemetery.

The pathway that passes by the Sagada Anglican Cemetery finally heads downwards into the Echo Valley. The name is apt as it is able to reflect echoes strongly, though shouting is now forbidden to prevent disturbing the peace of this sacred site.
